Hi Paul, Unfortunately there are few recommendations for sharpening thick charcoal pencils with an electric sharpener. The closest might be item 3 and 4 on the list above. Generally though, it is still recommended that charcoal pencils be manually sharpened using a handheld pencil sharpener. In essence remove enough wood until the pencil is the right thickness to fit in to a pencil sharpener and then manually sharpen the pencil.]]></description>
